What's up here?
I look around the house and in the car and there it is.
Clutter. I experience bouts of fatigue and they are starting
to come often. I know I need to stop and take a break but
how, when, where.....how! Now, mind you I don't mind the
fatigue because it's better than what it use to be....depression.
So I'll take fatigue anyday. Anyway, back to the clutter
issue at hand.
I also began to take notice that the outward clutter I saw
was a reflection of the inward clutter I was feeling. That
just as the outward clutter was driving me crazy so was
the inward clutter. A mind full of thoughts, worries,
confusion and lists of things to do. A heart full of hopes,
dreams and prayers. I know just as I need to clean the
clutter around me I need to clean the clutter building up
within my mind.
I just started tonight looking for scriptures...so far this one
I've found- "As water reflects a face, so a man's heart
reflects the man." Proverbs 27:19
I'm glad it says heart and not mind! At least this heart
of mine is the part focusing on the positive. Sorry, these
are just some rambling thoughts I'm thinking through.
I will be decortating and gearing up for Vacation Bible
School!!!!! Our VBS starts on Monday night so I'm sure
I won't be posting for the next week. If I have a mind at
all when I return it will be amazing!!!!! Summer school
start Monday too.
I love VBS though it makes me fall in love with Jesus
over and over....not to mention loving those little creatures
of His that I'll be chasing around!! I know that I will get
lots of inspiration for my next few posts!
Thank you all again for your prayers for Grandmother!
She continues to do well!!!
Sending out love~

Anybody up for a Victory Dance??
I've been waiting to do this victory dance since last Thursday!
Grandmother is doing GREAT!!!! They took her back for
surgery at 2:00 p.m. and by 3:00 p.m. she was done and
back in her room. She was chatting away still when I left!
She is already talking about her two favorite subjects we
hear often...(way too often ) "you girls better save your
money hard times are here" and she was saying she so
hopes that she's able to help put up the garden produce.
I told you guys she was a go getter!!! Wouldn't want her
any other way! Hope I'm going just as strong when I turn
88 yrs old!! When the surgery was over you should have
seen my Dad strutting down the hall with such a huge
pep in his step. He was so relieved! Granddaddy passed
away over 15 yrs ago. He had a heart attack and went
to be with Jesus in my Daddy's arms. I know that Daddy
will get some real rest tonight knowing everything is
good with Grandmother.
I can now truly celebrate my new job!! God is so amazing
to us.....even though we go through times when we think
He has forgotten us! I had such a peace about Grandmother
this week. Satan tried several times to shake my belief
in the peace I felt but I hung on to it as tight as I could.
God is so good to us! He loves us so much I can't
comprehend it. I wish everyone knew that!!!
My sweet friends- I thank you for walking this week with
me and for the prayers you surrounded my family with!!!
God has richly blessed my life through you all......
Wish I could ((hug)) all of your necks in person....
Sending you love.......

When I went back to college I had a certian course in mind. One that I thought was in tune with His plans. However, after graduating I had a hard time finding a job. As a matter of fact it took me 6 months to find the job I'm at now. Now, looking back I can see God's fingerprints all over that time spand. If I had received a job or had any old job come along and I had taken it I would have missed knowing what I know now. It's still hard for me to believe that I've finally discovered the reason (career wise) I was created for. How do I know I've found it...Passion. I would have never gone to work for my former employer had I not been in such a need for a job. I believe God stretched out the timing I had to wait so that I would not turn down this job (I knew my boss ahead of time and how she treated people). God has taught me much about my field and how to deal with people that I would normally cower from.
In the midst of a very stressful week God showed me His love for me. Ladies, I can mark in my prayer journal an answered prayer..... I GOT MY JOB!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!! I finally have a job with benefits and a future for myself.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers!!!!
An update on my Grandmother.....she is doing really well!! I thank you again for your prayers. Her surgery will be Tuesday sometime in the afternoon.

She has two more blockages they are both around 80% blocked.
They would do open heart surgery but due to her age and the
last surgery she's not able. So, she is having more stints put
in on Tuesday.
This will be my last post until then but I promise to keep you
updated. I'll be able to come around and visit you guys on and
off. Thanks again for all of your prayers.
Grandmother she's is a go getter. She is 87 yrs. old, she still
does all her cooking and cleaning. It's nothing for her to cook
for us a couple nights a week just because she needs something
to pass the day away with. Cooking is her thing...it's her way of
still caring for those she loves. We try to get her interested in
other shows besides CNN. We don't have to watch the news
because she gives us updates every 15 min. She is part of a
legacy that has passed down a generation of family, faith and
values. They have set a mark and impressed those values on
their children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
She's the only Grandparent to meet the greatgrandchildren.
Thanks again for your prayers. I will think of and pray for
each of you this weekend. Have a safe and great holiday
weekend. Love.......

Grandmother!! They are still doing test today so we hope to
know something tonight. This is my Dad's mom. I stayed home
today to watch the kids (it's going to take me forever to write
this post for all the pit stops- haha). Mom went to hospital so
Dad could come home and shower.
Thought I would share a few photos of what we have been up
to today......

First we rode our jeeps to the garden.
Yeah, Aunt M had to walk.

This is a picture of a boy and his
turkey....yep a turkey. He put
Dad's decoy in the jeep with him.

We joined Dad in the garden to
pick the squash and check the--
15 rows of peas he has planted.
We also found a few watermelons
about the size of a plum.
Well, I had to stop once but Emmy G is down for a nap!!

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying,
pray. Let petitions and praises shape
your worries into prayers, letting God
know your concerns. Before you know it,
a sense of God's wholeness, everything
coming together for good, will come and
settle you down. It's wonderful what
happens when Christ displaces worry
at the center of your life."
Philippians 4:6&7
Hey Guys, I have a huge prayer request
this morning. My Grandmother is in the
emergency room as I type. She will turn
88 years old this July. Two years ago they
had to put in 8 stints and do 2 balloons. Last
week she started having some more hurting
across her back (between shoulder blades-
Girls this is the symptoms in women of a
heart attack) and shortness of breath when
walking just a little ways. I pray this is
something that they can help with medicine.
Thanks.....Love you all......

In The Waiting...
Waiting to over come fears, waiting to feel alive, waiting for
a change in my thoughts, waiting for a time I could bring out
those dreams I've recently shared with you, waiting for my
life to move forward.
I want to thank ALL of you from the bottom of my heart
for you prayers for my interview. Things really went well
and I'll know the first week of June if I got it.
This is the verse that I have on my mind tonight....I love
the Message version...
"If you want to claim credit, claim
it for God. What you say about yourself means nothing
in God's work. It's what God says about you that makes
the difference".
Finding this passion that God has created me for has forever
changed my life. I don't claim credit for anything I know or
do without giving HIM the praise and glory for what He has
done. I may still be in the "Waiting" but I feel Him continue
to prepare me in the now.
"Waiting! Yes, patiently waiting!
Till next steps made plain will be;
To hear, with the inner hearing,
Te Voice that will call for me.
Waiting! Yes, hopefully waiting!
With hope that need not grow dim;
The Master is pledged to guide me,
And my eyes are unto Him.
Waiting! Expectantly waiting!
Perhaps it may be today
The Master will quickly open
The gate to my future way.
Waiting! Yes, waiting! Still waiting!
I know, though I've waited long,
That, while He withholds His purpose,
His waiting cannot be wrong.
Waiting! Yes, waiting! Still waiting!
The Master will not be late:
Since He knows that I am waiting
For Him to unlatch the gate.
by J. Danson Smith
There's not a day now that I don't wake up
feeling alive in Him. Thoughts have been
transformed by the renewing of His Word.
Now I believe the time has come for my life
to finally move forward...only in His timing
do I want it...
There are many of you too that I know are
in this waiting season...my prayer is that the
next step in your journey be soon and the
gate unlatched...but as well be it in His timing.
Love you all~
